Jesus was in Paducah
He goes there everyday
Because the prayer group
At Heath High School
Get on their knees to pray

You see, they all know Jesus
They talked with Him each day
But the world can't understand
Why they take the time to pray

This world enjoys the darkness
And it would grow darker everyday
If it weren't for prayer groups
Like the one at Heath High School
That take the time to kneel and pray

It's the faith they have in Jesus
That on their final day,
They'll see the man with nail-scarred hands
Come to take their souls away.
